Coumarin 311 is soluble in ethyl acetate and slightly soluble in toluene and methanol.

4 substituted coumarins have poorer lightfastness than 3 substituted coumarins. If you need better lightfastness our (7-diethylamino)-3-phenylcoumarin should be used.
