Description
Description
Fluorescein 40% liquid tracer and marker is the concentrated aqueous solution of fluorescein, and is a highly concentrated, bright yellow to orange fluorescent dye solution of CAS 518-47-8 used in many applications where safe, economical, quick and easy tracing is needed to take advantage of the vivid yellow colour in water, that becomes green in ultra violet light.
Customers choose Fluorescein 40% liquid tracer and marker as it is easy to use and avoids powder handling of this synthetic organic tracer dye. It is widely used by plumbers, environmental scientists, and water authorities to detect plumbing leaks, map sewage and drainage networks, and study hydrological flow in rivers, water courses and oil fields. There are many other uses such air sea rescue marker and fluorophor in microscopy.
In 2014 when the Tour of France race was in England, Sheffield studied using fluorescein to make the fountains at Barker’s Pool and at the Peace Gardens bright lime yellow to celebrate the launch of Yorkshire’s festival celebrating the Tour.
Our grade is suitable water, industrial and scientific uses, but not suitable for opthalmologists or other medical investigators.
