Product name
Ultrazol FFP PFAS Replacement
Description
Ultrazol FFP is the new PFAS replacement chemical that imparts oil, grease and soil resistance when applied to paper, moulded pulp or textile fabric, and is different from competitor products that are only suitable for surface application. Our product is not restricted to surface application of the formed end product, but can be added earlier in the process.
Ultrazol FFP, the PFAS replacement chemical, is a cationic polymer, substantive to cellulose fibre, ideal for stock application in paper and moulded pulp mills. It is suitable for addition at the wet stage of manufacture of paper by wet end application in paper and moulded pulp machines. However, it is not limited to the wet stage of manufacture, as it can be also added at the surface of paper, textiles and non-wovens by size press, padding.or coating.
The UK government published its first national PFAS Plan in February 2026 to manage and reduce “forever chemicals”.
