Zinc phthalocyanine is a useful organo-metallic purple dye powder used in applications such as sensors, electrodes, photovoltaics and laser dye, It is a fluorescent phthalocyanine with λ max. absorbance = 674 nm, and λ max. emission = 678 nm.
